Albatc7474, I don't see Sam and Julia not starting a physical relationship, as It seems to me that has been Sam's idea all along. It would not surprise me if Sam went along when they first visit the clinic, and even tosses in a suggestion or two of her own!

I would love to see Sam and Julia finally "get together" sexually in some way.

Well, let's just say I would not want to be married to her! But I really do enjoy this story, so her mental and emotional change is pretty much along the lines of what I might expect. I fear that Eric is in for an unpleasant series of indignities at the medical clinic. And it seem as though as Julia and Samantha grow closer together, Samantha is becoming more and more of a constnat in Eric's life, and I personally like that.

A couple pivotal ones actually though most the work is on Chapter 13 which is titled "Broken". It takes place the very next morning after the dinner party with Samantha. Eric is trying to adapt to his new reality with some difficulty while Julia seems intent on pushing him even further over the edge. At this point in the story Eric is rather broken down mentally.

Chapter 14 is titled "Alterations" where Eric finally meets with the medical group intent on changing him forever.

Not sure how you feel about Julia but I will say she's getting darker as the story progresses and I find it difficult to be in her "head space" sometimes.
